Transport Capital is pleased to announce that Piyush K. Sharma has joined Transport Capital as Senior Director Europe, based out of our Hamburg office.
Piyush blends outstanding financial, commercial and technical acumen in the maritime sector with over 23 years of experience across Europe, Asia and the Americas. Having started his career as a seafarer, he then worked in ship management, in banking with the world’s largest shipping finance bank and lastly with project development companies. Piyush brings with him an extensive network of ship owners, institutional investors and banks.
Piyush earned his MBA from the Copenhagen Business School in Denmark and a Bachelor’s Degree in Marine Engineering from the Marine Engineering & Research Institute in India.
